Univera Serve First Donates $5,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank

Univera Serve First donated $5,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank over the holidays as part of our Natural Disaster Relief donations. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this! The San Antonio Food Bank is a member of Feeding America and provides food and groceries to 58,000 people each week. Founded in 1980, it is one of the largest food services in Southwest Texas. They efficiently provide meals for just 18 cents to those in need. Learn more about how you can donate, volunteer, or get help here.

San Antonio Food Bank Thank You Letter

Dear Mr. Bietz,

‘This donation is in honor of everyone going through something.’ This quote is from a woman named Emily. Last year, uncontrollable circumstances led Emily and her young family to the San Antonio Food Bank’s doorstep for help during the holiday season. And, because of support from individuals like you, Emily and her family regained hope for the holidays last year. Now that Emily has found her footing again, she has chosen to invest the hope given to her back into her community – all because you stood with us in the fight against hunger.

Thank you for feeding hope this holiday season, and for many more to come.
