It was that time of the year again. We had our annual Univera convention held July 22-23, 2016 in Seattle, WA. We began the convention with a lighthearted talent show. The acts ranged from a sing along to a twist on Adele’s “Hello” and a beautiful version John Lennon’s “Imagine”. There was even a picture that was painted by our very own Ralph Bietz. The picture he drew on stage was auctioned off for a whomping $550! Univera pledged to match that donation to go towards its Serve First initiative to bring the grand total to $1,100. Those donations will go a long way! That $1,100 raised at the convention will allow us to serve 7,857 meals through our partnerships with food banks. If we break down the math, it comes out to be 7,857 meals at $0.14/meal.

The second half of the convention’s kickoff day (Friday July 22nd) involved a President’s State of Union Address and a speech that reflected the strategic changes of Univera Sales and Marketing. You can expect a change of more frequent news letters to your emails and have the ability to sign up for text alerts. You can also request to join our new Facebook page that the marketing team set up. All you have to do is type in “Live Success with Univera” in the search bar at the top of Facebook’s website. Keep in mind this is a closed Facebook group, and you need to request to join the new page.
Honduras mission 2016.
The next day of the convention, July 23rd, was full of more fun filled and informative presentations. There was a presentation put on by Ralph that reflected our recent successful mission to Honduras during the afternoon. Then in the evening we had a formal even that included a keynote presentation from our Chairman, Bill Lee. Finally, day two was wrapped up at night with a terrific closing party running late into the night! Additionally on July 24th we opened the Seattle store!
We would like to thank all who helped set up for the event. As well as all of the speakers at the convention. To EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU who have contributed to the vision of Univera and Serve First. To Mr. Bill Lee, our Chairman. And a big thank you to the Fremont Studios for letting us professionally host this wonderful convention.
